The Tung Trang shows how spending an extra couple of dollars on a room in Hanoi can make a world of difference to the comfort of your stay. Rooms are spacious and absolutely spotless at this very friendly, family-run hideaway. There is a small courtyard at the front and the super-friendly staff will happily natter away with you. Rooms are at three price levels. The most expensive have verandas and rather pleasant views over the surrounding houses, the mid-range rooms are at the rear without veranda and the cheapest are in between with no views at all. Bathrooms, while small, are immaculate and overall the place is very well maintained. Welcoming and comfortable. Free WiFi is offered throughout the hotel. Recommended.
